Dee is an urban-farm wife of nearly 30 years, with a heart deeply rooted in relationship with Jesus and compassion for families. She is the mom of four young adult children, three by birth and one adopted internationally—each journey shaping her understanding of both the beauty and heartbreak that can come with motherhood.
Dee is passionate about helping moms feel truly seen, heard, and covered in prayer, especially when life doesn’t go as planned. She knows the pain of picking up shattered pieces and placing them at the feet of Jesus begging for healing and fresh faith to believe His plan is best. She felt a deep calling to be part of this ministry to remind other moms that they are not alone in their struggles and that God meets us tenderly in the midst of disappointment and uncertainty. She counts it a joy and an honor to walk alongside moms, offering encouragement, prayer, and a safe place to rest. It is Dee’s prayer that at Momentum you find each of those very things around your table and from the personal touch of the Lord on your heart this weekend.
From southeast Michigan, Dee is the mastermind behind logistics, registration, guest experience and hospitality. Her heart is to ensure you feel loved and cared for the very first moment you hear about the MOMenTum Retreat! From connection at registration, meaningful table gifts, to clearly marked signs and directions, your heart will be touched over her attention to detail in reminding you how special you are to God and to our MOMenTum team.
Lisa Miller, who has spent all of her adult life in Arizona, is a dedicated leader, advocate, and servant-hearted professional with a deep passion for people, purpose, and positive impact. As a wife of over two decades, a mother of three sons, and a proud grandmother, Lisa brings both lived experience and compassion into every role she serves.
One of the most formative seasons of Lisa’s life was a painful period in which her son became estranged, resulting in deep emotional loss and heartache for her and her family. Through that season of parental alienation, Lisa leaned deeply into her faith, learning firsthand the power of prayer, perseverance, and grace. In time, the Lord brought restoration to her family — a testimony that continues to shape her belief that with prayer, all things are possible.
With a strong belief that leadership begins with character, Lisa is committed to uplifting others, fostering growth, and walking alongside individuals during seasons of challenge. She believes no story is beyond redemption and that healing and restoration can emerge even from the most painful circumstances.
Lisa’s professional background in the non-profit world equips her to provide an elevated guest experience for those attending MOMenTum with her strong empathy and heart for excellence in serving others. Lisa will be one of the first women to welcome you at the Registration Booth and you will experience her compassion and attention to detail all throughout your weekend with us.
Lisa’s deepest hope for Momentum is that every mom or grand-mom who walks through the doors feels seen and knows she is not alone in the hard journey of a strained or seemingly non-existent relationship with her child(ren). In the presence of God and alongside other women traveling the very same road, I pray she will find real refuge, comfort, and renewed strength.
Luissette’s story reflects redemption and grace. Before Christ, she faced challenges like divorce and teenage pregnancy, but her journey led to healing and joy. Married to Jay for over 30 years, they live, Florida and have three adult children and seven grandchildren who bring them happiness. Luissette’s faith fuels her passion to support women at all life stages, especially those seeking mentorship. Together with Jay, she navigated the trials of parenting a teenager, strengthening their ties to a faithful community.
As the Women’s Ministry Director at her local church in Florida, Luissette leads Bible studies and fosters fellowship, finding fulfillment in sharing God’s love and building community. Luisette’s hope for you at Momentum is that your heart is encouraged, your faith strengthened and your mind finds peace in El Ro’i, He sees you and is with you every step of every day.
Luissette’s deep passion for building connection to God through His Word and with one another in authentic community and mentorship ensures your time around your table groups will be rich and meaningful. She is preparing our table group mentors to pour into you during your time at MOMenTum with a beautiful balance of truth, grace, compassion and care.
Nicole McGuire’s life is a testament to resilience, faith, and the enduring strength found in Christ. She and her husband, Justin, are parents to four children. Their family journey began unexpectedly after the death of a family member, a sudden transition that profoundly shaped their approach to family, life and faith.
As a mother of four daughters, Nicole has faced knee-bending challenges that required extraordinary trust in the Lord, including navigating opposition from well-meaning family and friends. These experiences led to a deepened relationship with, and greater faith in, the Lord, teaching her to trust and rely on Him, especially in the demanding area of raising children.
A mighty prayer warrior residing in Arizona, Nicole oversees our Mighty Women prayer team who will be readily on hand to minister one on one to any woman in her moment of need. Prior to the event itself, Nicole’s team is actively praying over every woman who will attend MOMenTum, that God moves mightily in, among and through us as we seek His face. Nicole has seen firsthand the power of prayer in her own family’s life and wants every woman at MOMenTum to experience the power of faith-filled resilience in the face of life’s unexpected transitions and challenges, strengthening their trust in God’s faithfulness.
Nicole’s hope for you at MOMentum is that you feel the warmth and healing power of the Lord’s love through the embrace of other moms who, through trusting in Him, have navigated this journey as well.
With over three decades of marriage and experience raising four adult children and enjoying two grandsons, Shannon brings an understanding of community-building, mentorship, and family dynamics. As a former homeschool mom and public school middle school teacher, she has spent much of her life guiding, educating, and championing young people and their parents.
Shannon is passionate about connecting people and fostering meaningful relationships—often over a good cup of coffee. She loves conversations about faith, especially about Jesus, and has a heart for encouraging moms as they navigate the challenges of parenting. She herself has had to go through the process of releasing her children into independence. She understands the bittersweet mix of pride and surrender that comes when adult kids follow their own paths.
Shannon co-labors alongside Luissette in preparing our table groups to foster meaningful connection in a safe, affirming, no-judgment zone, where you can feel seen, heard, and safe to share your story and seek our Healer. Shannon’s gentle spirit often erupts into spurts of great fun, and you’ll find her cracking jokes, swinging her pickleball racquet, and leading prayer walks throughout the weekend.
Whether facilitating connection, supporting families, or building intentional community, she is committed to helping others feel seen, supported, and encouraged. Shannon is from Phoenix, Arizona, and her hope for you at Momentum is that you know God sees you and is a Big God who you can trust. Shannon’s prayer is that you trust in Him and find joy in the midst of your journey.
Tifny Miller is a visual storyteller. Her paintings narrate the story of her life from growing up in the South, her adventures while traveling the world, and her faith. A professional artist, now living in Nashville, Tennessee, Tifny began her painting career in an attempt to fund a mission trip to Honduras, and her paintings have now appeared across Nashville, on cruise ships, and have been commissioned nationwide. She uses her painting studio as a sanctuary.
Painting is a way for her to process the messiness and trauma in her life. From major health issues to her daughter being bullied for years and the aftermath that came with it, she has used her painting, combined with scripture and prayer, to release her anxiety and her need to feel in control. It has been a reminder that beauty can come from brokenness and dark places. She is connecting the slow build of a painting to the steady changes in life. She’s excited to share how God speaks to her as she paints and how He has used it to bring her out of the darkness and back into the light.
Tifny offers you the experience of combining your creative talents with your time with God to process hurt, pain, doubts, and questions, and to cling to God’s promises during her restorative session. She will also be offering an optional class in the afternoon to complete your own special painting project under her guidance. You will also experience her creative talent everywhere you look at MOMenTum with the splashes of beauty she will bring to every scene in which you find yourself. Tifny’s hope for you at MOMenTum is that you know you aren’t alone. You can see more of Tifny’s work on Instagram @squashblossomfinearts.
